  • Develop contingency and mitigation plans to reduce supplier and supply chain exposure to risk
  • Work with internal functions to ensure continuity of supply during disruptions, including implementing alternative sourcing strategies in coordination with procurement teams

Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement:

  • Engage directly with procurement teams & suppliers to assess resilience capabilities and readiness to respond to supply chain disruptions
  • Facilitate resilience maturity reviews
  • Build collaborative relationships with key suppliers to encourage proactive risk identification and shared resilience planning
  • Partner with the procurement team to embed and understand resilience considerations into supplier selection and contract management

Operational Support & Incident Management:

  • Act as the resilience lead for commodity support services during incidents affecting supply availability
  • Coordinate with procurement, and operations teams to enable rapid recovery and continuity of supply
  • Provide post-incident analysis and recommendations to prevent recurrence

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, supplier onboarding, and contract management (without needing to run procurement processes)
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with the ability to interpret supply chain data
  • Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders across different organisations

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Understanding of commodity supply markets, including global trade routes and geopolitical risk factors
