Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager who is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of project execution from initiation through completion. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing resources, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep project management expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle management of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
  • Define program scope, schedule, deliverables, and budget; monitor progress to meet targets.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, report status, and present key updates to senior leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to team members; may supervise lower-level professionals.
  • Implement and drive process improvements across program operations.
  • Evaluate program performance against objectives and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with task leads, functional managers, and subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in program or project management (or 6-10 years with a Master's degree)
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale, cross-functional programs
  • Expertise in:
    • Program and project management
    • Program implementation and evaluation
    • Project planning, execution, and reporting
    • Risk and resource management
    • Process improvement and change management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in complex environments
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior professionals

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP certification
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification
  • Experience managing programs in regulated, government, or defense environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or other iterative development methodologies
  • Prior experience with program financials and P&L accountability
  • Experience developing and presenting project proposals to senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, Smartsheet)
  • Change management expertise, including stakeholder engagement and implementation planning

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
