Leidos is seeking a Project Management Lead to join our SCITES 2 team in Doral, FL.
The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos currently is looking for a Project Management Lead to work onsite in Doral, Florida and have the opportunity to work in a high-profile IT and Cyber Services program supporting the United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) 2 contract. Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to the commands enterprise Information Technology (IT) services. The Project Management Lead will provide direct support to the Program Manager and PMO and play a critical role in the successful execution of the program.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project teams across various functional areas to ensure successful and timely delivery of all project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, risk mitigation strategies, and communication frameworks.
- Use project management tools to track progress, monitor task completion, and manage dependencies.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and contractual deliverables in alignment with organizational and client requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications, ensuring regular updates to leadership, clients, and end users.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and risks.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues; develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Ensure all project activities are compliant with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct post-project reviews and continuous improvement assessments to enhance future project delivery.
- Other PMO duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8+ years' of relevant experience; OR Master's degree with 3-6+ years' of relevant experience.
- 2+ years' experience with project/program management.
- Demonstrated success in program or project management, overseeing projects or initiatives that span multiple functional areas or disciplines.
- Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources for complex programs, including risk and change management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and delegate tasks effectively across various workstreams.
- Proficient in program planning, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and performance tracking.
- Experience coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Solid understanding of risk management, program evaluation, and continuous process improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in developing and delivering reports and status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Currently possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project or program management certification, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Experience with profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, including managing budgets and financial forecasting.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, Primavera, or Asana.
- Proven ability to drive change management, lead through ambiguity, and implement process and performance improvements.
- Knowledge of contract management and experience managing government contracts or working in regulated industries (e.g., defense, healthcare, aerospace).
- Experience in conducting post-project/program evaluations, assessing outcomes, and applying lessons learned to future initiatives.
- Understanding of program governance, enterprise-level portfolio management, or strategic planning frameworks.
- ITIL Certification.
- Experience working on FFP, T&M, CR, and hybrid contracts.
- Experience with and knowledge of FAR, DFAR and other Government regulations.
- Earned Value Management experience.
- Prior DoD project experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
