Description

The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for a Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Policy and Strategic Engagement (APL). The Office of Policy and Strategic Engagement leads agency efforts to increase the safety and capacity of the global aerospace system as well as other major initiatives. The incumbent will provide high level program management and analyst support to executives and key stakeholders from multiple Staff Offices and/or Lines of Business.

Specifically, this work directly supports the FAA's safety mission and statutory requirements across multiple functional areas including safety oversight, security, and FAA Reauthorization implementation activities. The position will be located at FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC., which requires in-person support to the Office of Policy and International Affairs (API) Administrator, Deputy Administrator, and senior executives.

In this role, you will use many essential skills, such as time, task, and program management, critical thinking and problem solving, the ability to communicate complicated problems in a concise manner, as well as solve complex problems using available tools and independent analytical thought and decision making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the business operations of organizations within APL and across the agency to include full lifecycle meeting facilitation, logistical coordination for engagement sessions with international visitors and stakeholders, monitoring the office mailbox, as well as creating and maintaining collaborative calendars in Microsoft Teams for executive staff.
  • Support senior staff in planning, organizing, securing and managing resources needed to successfully complete agency projects and programs. Responsible for determining and executing assigned projects.
  • Conduct in-depth research to support FAA staff with special projects and routine tasks.
  • Analyze and interpret information to provide concise briefings to executives and front office staff, keeping them informed of key commitments and requests.
  • Support analytical, administrative and technical actions for the FAA administrators, executives, and division managers including logistical support, administrative briefings, urgent action items, data analysis, and document preparation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with FAA personnel on drafting and proofing documents by recommending edits and coordinating revisions from senior management for final input.
  • Utilize internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, E2, Concur, or agency-specific tools) to manage workflows and communication.
  • Coordinate and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, including processing country clearances, travel authorizations, and expense vouchers.
  • Prepare status reports and provide leadership with updates on pending staff tasks and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Office, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to seamlessly adjust and adapt between strategic-level coordination and day-to-day administrative execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in Federal Government contracting, FAA is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe software to create and/or modify eBooks

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
