Description

The Leidos Civil NISC IV program has an opening for a Program Analyst in Oklahoma City, OK to support the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Academy. This position will support project management activities for the FAA including independent project management of construction and training projects as well as planning operations support to assist the customer in the implementation and integration of the NAS Modernization Program at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC).

This position requires a Program Analyst who can:

  • Creates and apply processes and procedures from Leidos to satisfy AJV-400's standards while overseeing the operational aspects. AJV-400 has the oversight for the training of students at the FAA Academy.
  • The Program Analyst handles projects ranging from managing setting up special classes with officers at the Pentagon and construction projects of classrooms for Air Traffic labs where he/she would manage the actual site workers on the project all the way to picking and purchasing the furnishings required and ongoing projects, and serve as liaison between project management planning, project team, and management.
  • As well as review the status of projects, manage schedules, and prepare status reports developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress & assisting in problem solving with project managers, team managers, and the FAA.

The successful candidate:

  • Will work independently to support the objectives of the assigned AJV-400 programs.
  • This position will have significant impact on the program's operational accomplishments, and will be responsible for specific processes within the program.
  • Also, will have impact on program schedules, budgets, and division goals.
  • It will impact risk-value delivery life cycles where cohesive methodology to agile solutions are necessary.
  • Requires a problem-solver that compiles knowledge from a broad range of subjects to produce thorough analyses of complex, challenging issues, and apply analyses to find solutions.
  • Lastly, Excellent communications with team members, both Leidos staff and the FAA, are essential to the position's responsibility to provide process solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a BA degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
  • Must have experience managing projects and teams.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills necessary to interact with Senior and Executive level management, as well as foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and coworkers.
  • Must be able to multi-task, tracking project schedule development, project control, risk management practices/issues, and project documentation processing/archiving between multiple teams simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Processes.
  • Experience with preparing briefing packages for Senior and Executive level management.
  • Previous experience as a team member supporting operations in FAA programs.
  • Able to work, manage, and maintain information stored in PRISM or CASTLE financial systems and additional FAA programs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
