Production Electrical Technician
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Overview
Join our team supporting the production of Navy Environmental Equipment, where precision, safety, and quality are paramount. As a Production Electrical Technician, you'll play a critical role in electrical installations, equipment assembly, and shipboard integration-ensuring timely delivery of mission-ready systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute electrical and mechanical assembly tasks in alignment with production schedules
- Coordinate installation activity of electricians assigned to production activity
- Conduct quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing to validate product integrity
- Perform shipboard installation of electronic systems as required
- Travel to field sites for troubleshooting and upkeep of Navy equipment
- Maintain accurate production records and verify deliverables against contract specifications
- Maintain reports and objective quality evidence of production in required electronic file format
- Tag, inventory, and kit materials to support production workflows
- Identify and resolve production issues to maintain operational efficiency

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 4+ years of experience installing Navy shipboard electrical systems
- 1-2 years of experience leading small teams in technical environments (production, manufacturing, assembly, or construction)
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and documentation practices
- Certified in copper and fiber optic termination
- Proficient in reading and interpreting MILSPEC drawings

Pay Range:
Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
