Production Controller - Navy Environmental Program

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Overview

Join the Leidos team supporting the U.S. Navy by coordinating logistics and production activities for Environmental Equipment systems. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of high-quality products that meet mission-critical standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor production schedules and workflows, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment
• Conduct quality inspections to verify compliance with manufacturing standards
• Perform receipt inspections of incoming materials, confirming accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Tag and inventory production materials, organizing them for efficient kitting
• Assemble kits in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
• Package and ship kits and completed equipment following established packaging protocols
• Maintain accurate digital records and objective quality evidence in required formats
• Track and manage inventory levels of consumables, coordinating deliveries and outbound shipments
• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain continuous, efficient operations

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a related technical field
• Proven ability to work effectively in dynamic, team-based environments

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in assembly, operation, maintenance, and/or repair of military equipment
• Familiarity with MILSPEC drawings and the ability to interpret technical documentation

Pay Range:

Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
