We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer for cloud development work leveraging capabilities from open source products such as ArgoCD, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Harbor, Postgres. The candidate should also have experience with Helm chart development and deploying into a Kubernetes production environment.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Design and develop cloud applications leveraging open industry standard tools and languages.
  • Implement CI/CD capabilities.
  • Perform Helm chart development and deployment into Kubernetes environments
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of deployment systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery efficiency.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and DevOps best practice

Required Experience

  • Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE, in teams of four developers or larger
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Agile development experience
  • Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Preferred Experience

  • Development experience in an AWS environment
  • Development experience with Go, Typescript, Python, Java, node.js
  • Experience integrating ArgoCD, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Harbor, Postgres into applications
  • Experience working in Rancher Kubernetes Engine 2 (RKE2) environment
  • Experience with Rancher tools a plus
  • Team oriented person
  • Strong communication skills

Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
