Description

Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a qualified and dynamic Principal Energy Advisor who will provide support as a part of our successful Energy Efficiency program team in MA & RI. This position offers a unique career opportunity with the successful industrial energy efficiency and electric vehicle programs that promote industrial energy efficiency and EV charging solutions projects for various energy related programs.

Location: The ideal candidate will live in Massachusetts or Rhode Island. Candidate will be working remote but will need to travel to customer sites in MA and/or RI.

Primary Responsibilities

The person in this position will broadly market Industrial Energy Efficiency and EV Charging programs to large commercial and industrial customers and will require the ability to identify efficiency opportunities, as well as hold the technical ability to calculate energy savings, maintain customer relationships, and deliver presentations.

  • Performing energy saving calculations related to the operation of different types of energy using systems within the industrial and commercial markets with a strong emphasis on mechanical, process and building control systems
  • Identify industrial efficiency opportunities while having the initiative and interest in keeping up to date on energy efficiency and carbon reduction technologies
  • Communicate technical issues across the project team
  • Provide and present technical advisement to client's regarding the design, procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment
  • Advise clients on processes that ensure continuous demand-reduction.
  • Perform site evaluations for EV charging solutions

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Facilities, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree with twelve plus (12+) years of prior relevant experience working with energy efficiency and/or EV Charging solutions programs
  • Experience working with large Industrial and Commercial customers in identifying, developing and/or implementing energy efficiency and charging solutions projects
  • Experience developing complex Excel documents based energy savings analysis calculations
  • A broad understanding of the financial and environmental benefits of energy efficiency and/or EV charging solutions and how they fit into the sales cycle of these services
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems, industrial systems, construction practices, EV Charging Solutions and/or the energy efficiency industry
  • Must be highly motivated, well organized, self-starting, have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid driver's license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures
  • Ability to be self-starting-demonstrate initiative---including the ability to collaborate well in a supportive team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and statistical knowledge and skills using Excel Ability learn proprietary energy management systems
  • Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing energy assessments and audits preferred
  • Familiarity with Electric Vehicle and Energy Efficiency program design and delivery
  • Familiarity with MS Teams, Sharepoint and CRMs such as SalesForce

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
