In Australia, we operate a select, highly skilled, internationally diverse engineering team, providing engineering and design advisory services to Australia's naval programs, and maritime autonomy system development. Our team holds expertise across naval architecture, marine engineering, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, engineering consulting and acquisition program management.

We are seeking a Principal Configuration Manager

The position will include the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategic technical assurance process while leading high level stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and delivery of critical outcomes.
  • Perform complex technical configuration activities and associated tasks working to agreed priorities and outcomes
  • Provide advice on and develop data and configuration management processes;
  • Prepare data and configuration management plans;
  • Develop and maintain databases (such as CTM-U and AMPs);
  • Conduct configuration management; and
  • Access technical packages including scoping, planning and reviewing of packages and provide recommendation for consideration.

Qualifications

The position requires the following high-level attributes:

  • Strong experience in Configuration management within government, or professional services with a strong track record in managing configuration processes.
  • In-depth understanding of government operations and processes.

Additional Information

  • The successful applicant is required to hold a valid NV1 security clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance as well as other mandatory background checks including a National Police check.
