Network Engineer

Description

Leidos is looking for a Network Engineer who will support a Network Management Control Center (NMCC) in day-to-day operations and monitoring of the client's network equipment availability and performance, respond to alerts and trouble tickets, and perform troubleshooting tasks.

The Network Engineer will manage various components of the infrastructure, including wired and wireless routers, switches, Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) components, appliance-based specialty networking or system hardware, configuration of alert management systems on other managed infrastructure components such as service desk tools, and the monitoring and alerting infrastructure which serves as the nexus of the NMCC's incident and alert management system.

This position is contingent upon contract award/ extension.

100% on-site requirement

Candidate must have an active MBI clearance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience managing a large enterprise network, including LAN and WAN technologies based on Cisco hardware and platforms.
• Must have current and valid ACSP, CCNA, or CCNP certification.
• Experience working in a Network Operation Center (NOC) environment, responding to trouble tickets and alerts for LAN and WAN environments.
• Expertise in networking concepts and equipment such as IPv4 and IPv6, MPLS, PLS, and SIP, Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Protocol analyzers, and probes.
• Candidate must have the ability to work as part of an operations team and be able to support multiple tasks at the same time.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
