Description
Leidos is seeking a Navy SCI RMF Assessment and Authorization Support Specialist to provide Security Controls Assessment and Authorization support for SCI cybersecurity IT Navy Intelligence-funded systems and networks at the National Maritime Intelligence Center in Suitland, MD. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with innovative Security Controls Assessors and Security Engineers in evaluating complex IT requirements and implementing operational, management, and technical controls in accordance with Navy RMF guidance, NIST SP 800-37, and NIST SP 800-53.
Responsibilities:
As part of the NAVINTEL Customer Support Desk, you will:
- Respond to customer inquiries with RMF expertise in a timely manner.
- Manage RMF incident tickets-submitting, updating, tracking, and closing them within the helpdesk system.
- Collaborate with Regional ISSMs weekly and maintain RMF information in the Navy's Systems of Record.
- Ensure quality control and completeness of RMF workflow steps (six-step process) in Xacta.
- Draft and format authorization letters, POA&M documentation, and Authorizing Official guidance.
- Monitor official command message traffic via the M3 messaging system and handle requests, including IATT, Baseline Change Requests, and Trusted Agent requests.
- Develop cybersecurity dashboards, compile metrics, and leverage databases and tools for cybersecurity health assessments.
- Maintain the RMF information portal using a Content Management System.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree and 3+ years of A&A experience (ICD-503, NIST Framework, Information Assurance). Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- IAM Level I Certification (CAP, GSLC, or Security+ CE) or higher.
- Experience with tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms for A&A in the DoD, DISA, NNWC, DoDIIS, and IC.
- Knowledge of DoD, IC, and national-level system security initiatives and LAN/WAN technologies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with exceptional interpersonal and results-oriented capabilities.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
