Description

The Leidos Digital Modernization NISC IV team is looking to hire a Mid-Level Full-Stack Software Developer to help develop the Civil Aviation Registry Electronic Services (CARES) web application. Your duties will primarily revolve around web application development by writing code and modifying software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures and working with customers or departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive knowledge of languages and the software development lifecycle.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years.)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications and handle front and backend development procedures.
  • Perform tasks using SQL database systems
  • Design, configure, develop, and implement enhancements and production fixes to existing systems.
  • Develop and implement new systems and ensure their configuration is handled correctly.
  • Use development best-practices and appropriate patterns to develop required software solutions.
  • Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and ensure that technical knowledge of all phases of application systems is maintained.
  • Develop, maintain, and support existing web applications and analyze and convert business requirements as needed.
  • Perform object-oriented analysis and design, and diligent testing to ensure optimal performance of all assigned systems and system modules.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience or education will be considered in place of a degree.
  • Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.

Must have:

  • The ability to complete tasks independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • The ability to work and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team.
  • Experience working with the .NET framework, Entity framework and Linq
  • Experience working with Angular 9 or greater
  • Experience working with languages (C#)
  • Experience working with basic web technologies (XML, REST, JSON)
  • Experience working with frontend web technologies (Javascript, Typescript, HTML, SCSS)
  • Experience working with at least one Relational Database Management System (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Agile Development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools integrations (Bitbucket, SonarQube, Etc.)
  • Experience with Microservice Architecture
  • Experience with writing and implementing Unit Tests
  • Experience with leveraging Cloud data services
  • Experience working with a Jenkins pipeline.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
