Leidos seeks an Junior Industrial Energy Engineer to support our utility energy-efficiency program that promotes energy efficiency with industrial facilities located in Wisconsin. This exciting position offers a unique career opportunity for a dynamic person who possess excellent outreach, technical, communication, and organizational skills to support energy efficiency projects as part of our team.

Location: Candidate would ideally be located within a commutable distance to Madison WI. Travel to the office is required for training and after training is completed, encouraged for occasional visits.
The Industrial Energy Engineer Will:
- Review calculations that estimate potential energy savings from proposed projects for reasonableness and accuracy
- Ushering these projects through the approval process for program incentives
- Seeking clarification and/or missing information from authors of original calculations and communicating conclusions with a supervising engineer
- Research new technologies to understand reasonableness of project savings claims
- Learn from experienced engineers that work on this same team
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related with two years or less (2-) of prior professional experience in engineering, technical project management or related areas. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within cross functional teams
- Physical ability to perform energy audits and field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures
- Valid Driver's license required
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Experience in energy and/or sustainability
- Experience in the fields of energy efficiency and/or the industrial environment
- Energy auditing (ASHRAE Level 1 & 2 Audit) and field metering experience

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,050.00 - $90,475.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
