The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division at Leidos is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee Leidos finance systems/operations, ensuring legal compliance, and reporting processes; oversight of program finance personnel; support to Enterprise Program Manager to ensure Government financial strategies are met. They are a key member of the program team and work directly with the program manager to help define the program's goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Program Finance Manager plays a critical role in managing the financial aspects and supporting a diverse range of customers. As a key member of the program team, this role partners closely with program managers to define program goals and objectives, develop and maintain budgets and schedules, and monitor performance against financial and program baselines. The Finance Manager will assess program progress, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actionable strategies to ensure successful program execution.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 8-12 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in program financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of contract types (e.g., CPFF, T&M, FFP), and financial compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data, conduct analysis, and present insights to stakeholders.
- Experience supporting proposals and working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence team members and stakeholders regarding financial strategy and execution.
- Advanced proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g. Excel, ERP systems, financial planning software).
- Develop, manage, and track program budgets, forecasts, and schedules in alignment with program objectives.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend actions to improve results and ensure program success.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure spending remains within allocated budgets.
- Generate and present financial reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to program leadership and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Participate in the development and pricing of new business and on-contract proposals.
- Act as a liaison with internal departments and external partners (e.g., subcontractors, vendors) to resolve financial and contractual issues.
- Monitor and manage program cash flow, general ledger accuracy, and compliance with financial policies.
- Support program audits and ensure compliance with internal processes and government/industry standards.
- Lead and influence financial process improvements, leveraging advanced tools and techniques.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
