The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division at Leidos is seeking a Facility Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and support services of the organization's physical facilities. This role ensures that building systems and services function efficiently and safely, while aligning with organizational goals and delivering exceptional service to building occupants. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, operational expertise, and a proactive approach to managing both in-house staff and contracted service providers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise custodial, maintenance, groundskeeping, and other facilities support teams.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of buildings and grounds, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Coordinate and manage routine and preventive maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and structural systems.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and security regulations and standards.
- Respond to service requests and manage the work order process, ensuring timely, high-quality resolutions.
- Administer contracts and relationships with external service providers (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, pest control, waste management).
- Track facility-related expenses and manage departmental budgets, identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Implement and maintain facility policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with departments including EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), Security, and Facilities Engineering to support operational objectives.
- Participate in emergency response planning and execution to ensure occupant safety and business continuity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, compliance reports, and facility performance.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in facilities operations, maintenance, or planning, or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Demonstrated experience in facility management, including space planning, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong understanding of contract management and vendor oversight.
- Proficient in project management, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ability to assess organizational space requirements and develop long-range facility strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Familiarity with budgeting principles and ability to manage tasks within a defined budget.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems (BAS).
- Advanced proficiency in facilities management software and tools (e.g., CMMS, AutoCAD, IWMS platforms).
- Proven success leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with departments like EHS, Security, and Engineering.
- Expertise in workforce planning, space allocation for multi-site operations, and strategic planning for future space needs.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and energy efficiency practices related to building systems and infrastructure.
- Experience evaluating and managing facility renovations, construction projects, or real estate leasing activities.
- Ability to manage routine maintenance and emergency response protocols with minimal disruption to operations.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
