Digital Learning Production Specialist
Description
Leidos is seeking a Digital Learning Production Specialist, contingent upon contract award, who will design, produce, and maintain engaging digital learning content for NFFS (Navy Fleet and Family Support) Webinar Hosting and Production Services. They collaborate with subject matter experts to transform instructional materials into interactive e-learning modules, videos, and multimedia assets. Using e-learning authoring tools and graphic design software, they ensure content meets quality, accessibility, and technical standards while managing uploads to learning management systems.
Role will be primarily telecommute
Candidate MUST be located in the United States
MUST be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Duties
Designing interactive NFFS (Navy Fleet and Family Support) digital courses for Web Based e-learning and training by applying adult-learning and UX principles to maximize engagement
Transforming SME-provided materials into clear storyboards and rich media (e-learning modules, videos, motion graphics, infographics)
Using digital e-learning software such as Captive, Articulate, or Articulate 360, and related tools; packaging deliverables in SCORM/xAPI-compliant formats
Applying accessibility standards and quality benchmarks to every asset prior to release
Uploading, configuring, and testing courses in the designated LMS (Learning Management System) and LXP (Learning Experience Platform), validating functionality, tracking, and metadata accuracy
Maintaining and version-controlling course files, asset libraries, and templates to streamline updates and reuse
Conducting periodic content reviews to refresh outdated information, optimize performance, and incorporate user feedback or analytics insights
Coordinating with cross-functional teams (instructional designers, IT, quality, compliance) to ensure technical and contractual requirements are met

Documenting production workflows and contributing to continuous-improvement initiatives that reduce cycle time and defect rates
Staying current on emerging tools (AI, AR/VR, adaptive learning) and recommending pilots that enhance web-based learning deliverables
Minimum requirements
Requires a BA degree in adult education or a social science or related behavioral science field. Must have 4 years of prior relevant experience: developing an e-learning products from initial content outlines to full interactive le-learning modules; using digital e-learning software such as Captive, Articulate or related tools; and transforming SME-provided materials into clear storyboards and rich media (e-learning modules, videos, motion graphics, infographics).
Expertise with instructional design, educational evaluation, and instructional product development utilizing technology platforms
Candidates who have the below experience are Highly preferred:
Experience working with military populations
Experience in behavioral healthcare, EAP services, or another healthcare setting
This position supports the Navy Fleet and Family Support contract. NFFS delivers comprehensive Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP) services worldwide, ensuring consistent, high-quality support for active-duty Sailors, retirees, eligible civilians overseas, and their families. The program implements, evaluates, and continually refines established FFSP offerings-developing the concepts, structures, and processes needed to maximize well-being across all installations. Key objectives include providing global staffing to supplement existing FFSP personnel through remote or surge/on-demand support, and delivering webinar hosting, production, and facilitation via a robust learning-management system.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
