Job Description:
Leidos Gibbs & Cox is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Program Manager to support the O/MUSV O&S program. As the DPM, you will work closely with the Program Manager (PM) to lead program execution, manage performance metrics, and ensure program objectives are met with precision and excellence. You will collaborate with functional management leads, program office and client stakeholders to plan and manage operations for unmanned surface vessels. You will work with technical leads to establish performance measurement baselines for cost, scope and schedule and to develop and implement diverse management plans in support of program and business objectives.

Location : Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programmatic responsibility (cost, schedule, performance).
- Support managing the program's cost, ensuring proper staffing to execute the project and operate within the budget, and identifying and executing actions needed to mitigate any cost drivers.
- Support financial performance (revenue, operating income, margin) against the Annual Operating Plan, focusing on maximizing profitability.
- Deliver consistent performance to meet or exceed all contractual requirements.
- Work with the PM to coordinate, document, and communicate strategic and tactical priorities; back up the PM during required program reviews.
- Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with Customers while developing a deep understanding of their priorities.
- Comply with Customer and Government processes and ensure commitments are tracked in our forecasts.
- Identify risks, resolve problems, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Oversee and coordinate task order performance, staffing levels, and resource allocation in collaboration with Task Order Managers, technical leads, and program management
- Drive program performance metrics, ensure quality assurance, and support the development of monthly reports, deliverables, and briefings.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to task leads and functional managers; foster a high-performing, mission-focused team culture.
- Support program growth by identifying opportunities, shaping follow-on work, and contributing to proposal development and strategy
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in a program, project, or technical coordination role
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- U.S. Citizenship and an Active Security Clearance.
- Experience managing US Navy Unmanned Surface Vessel/Unmanned Underwater Vessel and/or Operations and Sustainment programs
- Experience working with systems engineers and cross-functional technical leads to plan, organize and manage complex work.
- Experience working with Cost, Schedule, and Performance metrics
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency with program management tools and reporting systems (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint)
- Experience with ISO 9000, DMAIC, CMM or similar organizational performance management approach.
- Must be able to travel up to 25%.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years servicing NAVSEA or a comparable DoN or DoD acquisition program office.
- Ability to lead in a matrixed organization and work across multiple technical domains and stakeholder groups.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
