Data Center Manager Level 3

Description

Data Center Manager is responsible for support, maintenance, performance and uptime of the customer's Data Centers. Ensure compliance of Access Control, property coordination and accountability, equipment installation/removal, Power Space and Cooling oversight and general daily operation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Advise the Installations and Logistics Office of power, space, and cooling requirements and/or concerns,
  • Manage physical access to customer datacenters and it the racks in the datacenters
  • Liaise with datacenters customers/users
  • Plan and schedule work to be perform in the Data Center during non-business hours on a weekly basis
  • Liaise with the datacenters support staff
  • Design and manage the cable infrastructure and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Design and manage rack layouts and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Follow customer datacenters procedures and processes and with Government approval establish new and/or modify existing procedures and processes for efficiency.
  • Manage the Datacenters Service Level Agreements
  • Refer customer request for system health/status monitoring to IT Operations
  • Track the completion of all service and access requested for the Data Center
  • Plan and schedule work to perform in the Data Center during Monday through Friday business hours on a weekly basis
  • Ensure all Data Center security and escort policies are followed
  • Provide equipment accountability and coordination of Data Center equipment installations/removal
  • Provide Data Center weekly status reports to Contractor Program Manager and government representatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience , of which a desired three (3) years within the Intelligence Community, with the management of large IT computer rooms daily activities such managing room access, planning and scheduling equipment installation and facility work, accountability of equipment being installed or removed, documenting room floor layouts and rack elevations, and maintaining the accuracy of all documentation and databases.
  • Must currently possess the following certification:

    • Data Center Technology Professional

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting programs within the Intelligence Community

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
