Consulting Employee - Solution Architect with experience in Health and Civil FEDSIM and OTA proposals.

This position is within Leidos' Capture Operations & Excellence's Proposal Operations Group, which supports Leidos' largest, most strategic bids across the enterprise. As such, this is an exciting role for those that want to make an immediate impact and be recognized for their contributions to our organization. This role is to support competitive proposal bids as a Solution Architect working directly with Capture Executives, Proposal Writers, and Technical and Management Volume Leads to develop solutions to meet solicitation requirements. Candidate will be responsible for leading and providing solutioning sessions, architecting responses, and providing technical expertise to all Leidos segments. The Solution Architect should have a proven successful track record on large, complex bids.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic high value proposals to include traditional, FEDSIM, and OTA's. Support includes architecting technical solutions, staffing plans, written technical responses, and oral slide development.
  • Proposal Review Team Member - Participate in color team reviews to offer insight and feedback on proposal content to include compliance and messaging.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team to clearly articulate solution and strategy, approach to performing work, experience, win themes, and discriminators for both the written and oral presentation.
  • Orals Presentation Support - work with key personnel, orals coach, and script writer to prepare team for oral proposal presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 15+ years of related experience, 10+ years of experience working as a solution architect supporting U.S. Federal Government solicitations.
  • Evidence of a successful track record of high quality, high scoring proposals.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must have the ability to travel to support proposal efforts, primarily in the Washington Metro Area (WMA), as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience working in a competitive proposal environment, 10+ years of experience supporting U.S. Federal Government solicitations.
  • Experience supporting FEDSIM proposals.
  • Ability to coach, instruct, and clearly articulate solution and strategy, approach to performing work, experience, win themes, and discriminators for both the written and oral presentation.
