Based in San Antonio, TX, this hybrid role offers flexibility, challenge, and the opportunity to leave your mark on mission-critical systems. You'll be part of complex migrations across AWS and Azure platforms-executing discovery, planning, and implementation while championing cybersecurity and cloud modernization.
What You'll Tackle:
- Support communication and coordination between mission partners, DAF Cw engineering teams, and leadership to help streamline timelines and reduce risk.

- Participate in IT transitions, including legacy system updates and migration of mission-critical workloads.
- Work with migration tooling across DevSecOps, collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, GitLab), and Identity Management systems.

- Bachelor's (preferably in Computer Science or a related field) and 5 years relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
- Demonstrated proficiency in at least two areas such as cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, CI/CD, data migration, or software refactoring.
- Practical experience supporting legacy system modernization and large-scale workload migration efforts.
- Solid understanding of the 7 R's of migration with hands-on exposure to applying them in real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with leading migration tools including AWS Application Migration Service, Azure Migrate, DataSync, Jira/Confluence Migration Assistant, or Transition Manager.
- Strong communicator with a history of stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule; part time on base, part time teleworking (subject to change due to mission requirements).
Bonus Credentials (Preferred):
- Experience with agile delivery models and PI planning.
- Familiarity with USAF enterprise architecture, DevSecOps, and DoD cloud regulations.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
This is your chance to drive the next evolution of secure cloud operations and shape the future of defense modernization. At Leidos, your mission is our mission-are you ready to deploy your potential? Apply today!
At Leidos, we don't want someone who "fits the mold"-we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, "what's next?" before the dust settles on "what's now."
If you're already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2... good. You'll fit right in.
