This role requires advanced technical expertise in Azure administration, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automation pipelines, with the ability to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions across multi-cloud environments. In this role you will own key projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a technical authority for Azure best practices, while also supporting AWS resources as needed.

- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) - Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules and automation pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab/GitHub CI/CD) to enforce consistency and reduce manual work.
- Automation & Configuration Management - Implement automation with Ansible, Cloud Custodian, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to streamline provisioning, patching, and compliance.
- System Reliability & Security - Oversee system performance tuning, vulnerability remediation, backup/recovery solutions, and logging/monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center.
- Cross-Platform Support - Perform advanced troubleshooting and integration tasks across Linux and Windows servers to maintain healthy, secure systems.
- Solution Design & Delivery - Partner with Cloud Engineers and Architects to design solutions that align with business and security requirements. Provide recommendations on optimization, modernization, and automation strategies.
- Leadership & Mentorship - Provide technical guidance to peers and junior administrators. Lead workstreams, coach team members, and promote best practices.
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement - Develop and maintain technical documentation, identify operational gaps, and implement process improvements to increase delivery velocity and service quality.
- Agile Delivery - Contribute to Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and drive technical excellence in sprint commitments.
