We are seeking a versatile professional to join our multi-year Defence program for a maximum tenure of 6-months with potential extensions on delivering an enterprise Health Knowledge Management (HKM) System.
This capability will enable better clinical decision-making for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) providing market leading healthcare to ADF personnel and is a key capability and priority for the ADF. The Clinical Applications Specialist will have clinical analyst skills to support the development, training, and implementation of the new system.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide expert clinical guidance in the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital health and clinical applications to ensure alignment with Defence and best practice workflows.
- Lead clinical workflow analysis by conducting workshops, gap analyses, and validation activities to design safe, accurate, and usable future-state processes. Support system interoperability through data mapping, configuration, and adherence to emerging clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including vendors, design, testing, and training teams to ensure effective communication and cohesive project delivery. Contribute to change management by assessing impacts, supporting adoption strategies, and facilitating smooth implementation of new systems.
- Develop and deliver clinical training, including instructor-led sessions and materials, to build user capability and support successful system rollout.
About You and What You'll Bring
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with critical care experience.
- Proven experience working with digital health application design and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams bridging clinical and technical domains.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Defence health sector experience preferred.
- Experience working with Alcidion suite of products preferred.
