We are in search of an Audio Visual (A/V) Engineer to support an enterprise IT program within the Intelligence Community. In this role you will utilize your in-depth knowledge, experience, and best practices to improve products or services. The position requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas.

In this role you will:

  • Provide technical expertise in the management of A/V systems.
  • Utilize your experience using AutoCAD/Visio for system design along with various A/V manufactures proprietary software for configuration.
  • Plan, design, implement, troubleshoot and support A/V systems in the areas of switchers, digital signal processor, video processors, control systems, teleconferencing systems, cameras and microphones.
  • Evaluate and report on new technologies to enhance potential A/V system design.
  • Solves complex problems, taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Work independently, receiving minimal guidance.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Act as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements.
  • Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercising judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain complex, difficult and/or sensitive information; working to build consensus.

Clearance Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience experience working directly with A/V products and systems, or similar relevant IT systems. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
