Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure that proper documentation is made on training record for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Help monitor inventory and supplies and ensure correct usage.
- Understand process and quality procedures and communicate them to less experienced team members.
- Communicate with supervisors, managers, and quality regarding issues affecting quality of productivity.
- Assists in the development of bills of material and labor cost estimates for proposals and budgeting.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment or related experience and/or training.
- Skillful knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and assembling structures with the ability to learn the integration of large structures for DoD or aerospace is required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be adept with hand tools including drills, grinders, wrenches and screwdrivers, impact rivet guns, rivet puller.
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Must have the aptitude to learn and utilize production work orders, documents, drawings, specifications, and written or oral instructions to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements.
- This job operates in a machine shop environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for half of the time and the rest of the time standing/walking. This role routinely uses standard hand tools. Use of PPE is required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with staff.
- Candidate will be required to move, reach, lift, feel, inspect, detect, and handle metal parts and perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and must possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.

- Costpoint/Solumina/Agile/Windchill.
- Effective Communication Skills.
- Planning/Scheduling Experience.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
