Description

The Leidos Airborne Mission Operations Division has an opening for Aircraft Documentation Specialist located in El Paso, TX. The Aircraft Documentation Specialist reports direct to the Director of Maintenance. The responsibilities include, reviewing and organizing aircraft discrepancy sheets, GSE inspection paperwork, ISO9100 audit documentation, GFR audit documentation, reviewing training compliance as well as Flight and Ground Operations compliance. Daily updating of aircraft times in cycles in CAMP and LMMIS maintenance programs. Monthly reporting of aircraft times and cycles to the airframe, engine, and APU to OEM's. The Aircraft Documentation Specialist may be required to work in areas where high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards exist.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review, organize and secure all aircraft documentation.
  • Aircraft data input within CAMP and LMMIS
  • Planning GSE maintenance and inspections
  • Assessing and ensuring proper tooling, equipment, and parts are on site.
  • ISO9100 inspections / Audit
  • GFR Inspections / Audit
  • Maintain hangar organization
  • Flight and Ground Operation documentation
  • Review and maintain all Aircraft Maintenance Records IAW FGOP
  • Flight and Ground Operation Procedure Compliance
  • Submit daily, weekly or monthly reports as required
  • Update maintenance tracking software and databases
  • Work hours may be adjusted for operational requirements
  • Maintain FAA required records, manuals and inspection forms
  • Maintain aircraft maintenance records within CAMP & LMMIS
  • Centralized POC for Operational Documentation
  • Maintain and issue employee training
  • Perform other assignments as directed by Management

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a current US civilian driver's license
  • Must have exceptional Microsoft office Skills
  • Must have exceptional Adobe Software skills
  • Must have exceptional Interpersonal Skills
  • Must have a basic understanding of aircraft operations
  • Must have an extensive operation of Hangar Operations
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Must have exceptional communication skills
  • Must have working knowledge of aircraft safety directive compliance (SL, SB, AD)
  • Must be able to work shifts as assigned and travel as required to support operations
  • Must complete DOT drug test to determine the presence of illegal or un-prescribed controlled substances
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards during flight line operations
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of using aircraft technical publications with the ability to read and interpret basic schematic diagrams, drawings, and charts
  • Must have proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as maintenance database and tracking software

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAMP (Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program)
  • Relevant aircraft maintenance tracking software
  • Experience with Bombardier maintenance manuals
  • Experience with Bombardier Global series aircraft or similar aircraft preferred

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
