Leidos Civil Group is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join the team in Chesapeake, VA. This position provides essential administrative and P-Card purchasing support for the Chesapeake facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for making authorized purchases using a Procurement Card (P-Card), ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Additionally, the role includes administrative support to the Program Manager and management staff at the Mid-Atlantic Depot, which delivers life cycle solutions to domestic Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs. The role may include ordering supplies, gathering, recording, tracking, and verifying information from multiple sources. As a generalist, this role may handle a variety of administrative tasks across functions, programs, or departments.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Provide administrative support to management, assisting with various day-to-day tasks.
  • Support audits and generate reports as required.
  • Make authorized purchases using the corporate P-Card, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and budget limits.
  • Maintain detailed transaction records, including receipts, justifications, and approvals.
  • Reconcile P-Card transactions regularly, submitting timely reports to the accounting or finance teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors to place orders, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Track order statuses and address any shipping, billing, or return-related issues.

Basic Qualifications.

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative and purchasing roles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications.

  • Experience with procurement or P-Card systems
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, expense reconciliation, and financial systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
