Join LabCorp's Tax, Treasury, and Risk Management (TTRM) team as a Tax Technology Manager, supporting technology transformation in US income tax compliance, global tax provision, reporting, and analytics. This role will support strategic planning for technology initiatives as well as being responsible for execution of initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to touch many different areas within income tax, utilize the tools of today and tomorrow, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, understand, and question new and complex tax and reporting scenarios, anticipate information needs, identify gaps, and clearly communicate business requirements by synthesizing data from multiple sources.
- Develop, test, and deploy tax tech solutions ensuring compliance.
- Utilize emerging technologies like AI and RPA to improve tax processes.
- Manage tax technology roadmap aligned with TTRM's long-term vision and objectives.
- Collaborate across finance, IT, and TTRM to integrate modern solutions ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate tax and reporting project prioritization by making strategic recommendations based on business value and risk while ensuring seamless execution.
- Train tax professionals in new technologies and best practices, fostering a culture of digital transformation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; (Master's preferred) in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, IT, or related field
- 5+ years in tax technology or process improvement roles required
- Ability to automate tax processes and drive improvements.
- Experience with operational and technical architecture.
- Proficiency in low-code tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query) and databases are strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of programming language (e.g., SQL, Python) strongly preferred.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range: $115-$135K (State minimum wages apply if higher)
Shift: Monday- Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST
Prefer candidate to go onsite periodically in Durham, NC
