Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management operations including cycle counting, vendor engagement, and procurement activities utilizing inventory software to ensure optimal stock levels and cost efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships to support sourcing and procurement, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply chain operations & good book keeping skills.
- Participate actively in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives, as well as internal and regulatory audits, contributing expertise to maintain compliance and operational standards.
- Conduct daily facility checks, including temperature monitoring, site maintenance, and walk-through inspections to ensure sustainability and adherence to safety protocols.
- Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maintain facility integrity.
- Maintain accurate records related to facility operations and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the routing and handling of specimens to designated preparation areas, ensuring workflow efficiency and specimen integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement by encouraging process enhancements and adoption of best practices across the team.
- Perform regular quality assurance reviews to uphold accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in operational procedures.
- Investigate and resolve production discrepancies, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Enforce and manage adherence to organizational policies and procedures, maintaining a consistent and compliant work environment.
- Foster a positive team culture by maintaining high morale, promoting collaboration, and supporting professional development.
- Take ownership of projects as assigned by management, ensuring timely and successful completion aligned with organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or higher is preferred
- 3 years of relevant experience; preferably in a clinical laboratory
- Prior leadership experience is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures is preferred
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
