Research Associate I - R&D Medical Devices

Position Summary
The Research Associate supports in the development, validation, and commercial launch of rapid, point-of-care toxicology diagnostic devices. This position is responsible for generating reliable data, analyzing and critiquing results, noting deviations and suggesting relevant experiments to supervisor.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work independently and conduct important experiments, collaborate with others on project teams, work on projects of moderate to complex scope, troubleshoot issues in experimental design, present their results to colleagues, and maintain an accurate and comprehensible experimental notebook.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in R & D (or equivalent experience), preferably in development of immunoassays and point-of-care devices under design control.
Education Level:
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree
- Master of Science degree is preferred
