Project Analyst - Validations

CO Salary Range: USD 65,000.00 - 80,000.00 per year

LabCorp is seeking a Project Analyst to join its team in Englewood, CO! This position will lead a variety of projects, collaborate with several departments, and have direct people leadership responsibility over a small team. The Project Analyst will work with the laboratory management team to help launch the projects, organize meetings with project teams and leaders, and manage the project documentation. Previous life science is desired, including direct experience with method validation processes and/or project management experience.

The ideal candidate will perform research and evaluation of complex projects, assignments, and validations requiring knowledge and experience to identify and measure process methodologies and technical applications.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift, Mornings, Flexible Start Time.

• Supervise a small group of individuals regarding projects and validations.
• Serves as a liaison between scientists, laboratory technical staff and management in support of diagnostic and clinical trial validations.
• Manages trials that are unique in nature such as device studies.
• Conducts train-the-trainer or trains directly for new programs, systems, or validation processes.
• Reviews raw data generated or data entered in templates or spreadsheets used by technical staff to include check of manual calculations if applicable.
• Drafts or oversees all SOP related revisions associated with validations.
• Keeps abridge of current projects watching timelines to avoid missing deadlines, communicating changes, problems and solutions.
• Tests and or validates system changes or monitors the process.
• Fields and researches questions from QA or testing personnel.
• Notifies management of discrepant data or deviations observed and assists with investigation and assigning root cause for deviations from internal procedures.
• Documents all activities as necessary including. preventative maintenance logs, instrument function checks, troubleshooting, and quality control to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Adheres to the standard operating procedures and safety requirements of Labcorp, CLIA, CAP, ICH GCP, and other regulatory bodies.

• B.S./B.A. Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related science (or 24 credits in Chemistry/Biology constituting a biological science major) as required by CLIA
• 2-5 years relevant experience. Project Management or Clinical/Research experience highly preferred
• Previous life science industry experience desired
• Experience working in a diagnostics clinical laboratory a plus
• Computer proficiency - MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. MS Project proficiency a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, deliverables, resource demands, and conflicts
