People Services Specialist II
Role Overview
Are you passionate about creating exceptional candidate experiences and driving operational excellence in HR? Join our dynamic global People Services team as a Pre-hire Services Specialist II, based in Bangalore, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the onboarding journey for pre-hires across the globe with a strong focus on U.S. HR operations and compliance. This role allows flexibility to be home-based and/or site based. In this role, you'll bring advanced expertise in managing offer letters, employment agreements, pre-employment background and medical screenings, as well as right-to-work activities. As an integral member of the Global People Services team, you will work to support our transition to the use of enhanced automation, collaborate with international stakeholders, and help shape candidates' initial perceptions of the culture of Labcorp.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage complex pre-hire processes including offer letter generation and employment agreement execution, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinate and manage pre-employment background checks and medical screenings, ensuring timely completion and compliance with local and U.S. regulations.
- Monitor right-to-work validations and ensure all employment eligibility documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Resolve intermediate to advanced inquiries from candidates, employees, and leaders using case management tools, telephony, and all other HR systems and tools.
- Provide expert guidance on pre-hire policies and procedures to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and legal teams to ensure employment agreements and onboarding processes align with global standards and U.S. labor laws.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Mentor junior team members, develop training content, and support onboarding for new People Services team members.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and audit readiness across all pre-hire activities.
- Support global HR projects related to onboarding and compliance.
