Operations Scientist I - Lab Operations
The Operation Scientist will report to the Laboratory Supervisor and to Operations Manager. They may be allocated to other supervisors as necessary for day to day work on specific studies.
The Operation Scientist will provide operational support necessary for the performance of studies carried out in the Bioanalytical Services Department. They will provide support for a wide variety of studies and will participate in a wide range of analytical techniques & procedures, working generally with minimal supervision.
The Operation Scientist will work closely with Scientists (Study Managers/Technical Experts) to ensure studies are performed according to appropriate scientific and technical standards and in a timely and cost effective manner. They are responsible for the day to day performance of routine assays and may be involved with developments and validations.
