Responsibilities:
- Perform specimen reception, preparation, and packing of specimens
- Assist with telephone reception duties and ensure patients' bills are accurate and correct
- Carry out specimen analysis, operate, maintain and troubleshoot the analysers and validation of results
- Able to troubleshoot and explain basic problems and escalate when required
- Knowledgeable on Quality Control (QC) (eg. Westgard, criteria, EQA) and verification of QC results and assist to troubleshoot issues
- Adhere to the department's standard operating procedures and safety requirements
- Assist in the supervision and guiding of junior staff
- Revise or write new SOP.

Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in assigned technical area/bench.
- Experience in Special Chemistry laboratory testing (protein electrophoresis, esoteric Immunology testing), quality assurance, laboratory audit and accreditation, or data analytics will be an advantage.
- Candidates with significant years of relevant work experience can be considered for senior position.
- Bachelor's degree in any healthcare discipline, with a combination of work experience / training.
- Prior work experience in CRO / central laboratory setting will be an advantage.
- Able to handle high workload in a fast-paced environment with good problem solving skills.
- Possesses positive work attitude and is responsible, meticulous, and efficient
- Works well independently, in a team and/or in a leadership role
- Comfortable with OT and working on PH/weekends (if required only).
