Manager - Immunology & Immunotoxicology

Are you ready to lead a high-impact scientific team at the forefront of health innovation? Labcorp is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee our Immunology & Immunotoxicology (I&I) Laboratory Science team. This is more than a management role-it's a chance to shape the future of immunological research and testing.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technical, regulatory, and supervisory functions across platforms such as flow cytometry, in-vitro cell based assays or immunoassay biomarker activities.
  • Manage the Immunology & Immunotoxicology laboratory, ensuring timely and high-quality testing services
  • Plan and allocate resources for study conduct, anticipating and resolving delivery challenges
  • Stay ahead of evolving GLP and GCP regulations and ensure strict adherence
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and quality across the team
  • Lead and inspire team while aligning with global team strategies
  • Champion quality improvement initiatives and ensure timely resolution of quality issues
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure data integrity and reliability
  • Keep leadership informed with performance metrics and operational insights
  • Foster a culture of empowerment, engagement, and continuous learning
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent to support operational excellence
  • Guide staff through Labcorp's Performance Management & Development (PMD) process
  • Ensure teams are well-trained and resourced to meet production and innovation goals
  • Recommend budget adjustments to support growth, efficiency, and innovation
  • Own business performance metrics and drive sustainable success
  • Take on special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD in Biology, or related life science OR MBA
  • At least 5 years of life science experience
  • Experience in a leadership role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of GxPs and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Aptitude for team building, leading teams and developing people.
  • Knowledge in planning, negotiation, and process innovation.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
