We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immunology Diagnostic Specialist to join our clinical diagnostics team. This role involves developing, validating, and interpreting a wide range of immunologic assays to support the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies, allergies, and infectious diseases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunodiagnostics, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advancing patient care through laboratory excellence.
Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities
- Validate and implement new immunology tests or panels to meet clinical needs
- Analyze and interpret immunologic test results with accuracy and clinical relevance
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory standards
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory agency standards
- Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures, results, and quality assurance activities
- Stay up to date with advances in immunologic testing and emerging diagnostic technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or a non-traditional Bachelor's degree that meets local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements; Masters is preferred
- ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
- 2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required; preferably in immunology
- Strong understanding of immunologic principles, test methodologies, and clinical applications is preferred
- Experience with method validation and test development (e.g., LDTs) is preferred
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA)
- Excellent critical thinking, data interpretation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) and diagnostic instruments/software
