About the role:

Labcorp's Global Tax and Treasury team serves as a central part in the success of the Labcorp business. We are seeking a Global Tax and Treasury Manager to support the global tax and treasury department along with working with corporate development, legal, and accounting. The ideal candidate will have US and non-US technical expertise, tax accounting, and leadership capabilities and experience. Other key components of this role will be leadership skills assisting with developing, mentoring, and leading the IAS Sofia Tax and Treasury team along with assisting with special projects. A successful candidate will have strong background in tax , cash management, and financial reporting and should be able to work on complex workflows that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships within Tax and Treasury across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze the tax reporting and structure decks to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws;
  • Oversee the timely preparation and completion of accurate income tax returns and submissions to ensure compliance with local, state, and international tax laws;
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and tax authorities during audits or reviews;
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization while mitigating risk
  • Responsible for ensuring optimizing cash flow, managing financial risk (credit, interest rate and liquidity) and supporting overall financial strategy;
  • Manage day-to-day cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency;
  • Oversee bank account structures, relationships with bank and business partners, and administration;
  • Support in forecasting short-term and long-term cash requirements and coordinate funding needs;
  • Collaborate with the tax team as it relates to the global tax structure, funding, repatriation and intercompany agreements;
  • Support foreign exchange management and hedging strategies;
  • Partner with cross functional teams by serving as the subject matter expert as it relates to global treasury best practices and process improvements, such as payment and receivables offerings;
  • Optimize working capital and support strategic financing initiatives;
  • Lead, empower and develop team members to support departments optimal workplace productivity

Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting or finance
  • 7+ years of tax/ treasury/ related finance experience
  • CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CTA certification preferred
  • 2+ years of supervisory/ people management experience preferred

Competencies:

  • Advance MS Excel
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax principles
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with banking systems and treasury management tools
  • Alteryx and PowerBI experience preferred
  • Kyriba treasury workstation experience preferred
  • Atlas FX and FXall knowledge/experience preferred
  • Peoplesoft/Oracle ERP knowledge
  • Big 4 experience preferred

  • Strong analytical, financial and systems skills, including advanced spreadsheet
