Genetic Counselor - Remote

Labcorp Genetics has an opening for a Remote-Based Genetic Counselor to provide genetic counseling services across the country. Our genetic counselors providing telegenetic services enjoy the support of a team of genetic counselors and the flexibility of working from home. This position will be responsible for supporting an innovative method of genetic counseling services and providing results counseling for high risk couples regarding carrier screening and cell-free DNA results. This role will support multiple clients and will focus heavily on results reporting.

Note: Location is flexible and candidate can reside anywhere in the US. Schedule for the position will be: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (local time zone to the candidate).

In this job, you will:

• Facilitate an innovative approach of providing genetic testing results
• Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for high risk couples, via telegenetic counseling

Requirements:

• MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling
• ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required
• 2 years genetic counseling experience required (post completion of Masters GC program)
• Previous women's health genetic counseling experience required
• Broadly licensed or ability to obtain multi-state licenses

Pay Range: $85,000 - $120,000 / year
