Please note: This position is 100% remote, aside from in-person training to start the role. The training will take place in Shelton or Manhattan, depending on when the candidate starts. In-person training can last up to a week and is covered by the business. The candidate can be located anywhere in the US. Must meet Work from Home requirements listed below.

Work Schedule: 1st shift Tuesday-Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm

Responsibilities:
- Performs routine high complexity analyses and interpretations of flow cytometry dot plots in the testing of leukemia/lymphoma specimens.
- Properly performs and documents quality assurance, quality control.
- Operates equipment as needed to complete testing.
- Sample preparation performed as needed.
- Properly prioritizes samples according to policy.
- Adheres to all safety, quality control and documentation policies.
- Recognizes problems that may adversely affect patient care and takes appropriate action.
- Participates in required Continuing Education activities.
- Serves as an example and resource to other testing laboratory personnel.
- Assists in training of personnel.
- Shows willingness to perform duties until they are complete.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Work From Home Requirements:
- The candidate must have a home office space that is a dedicated room, not shared with other people, and meets HIPAA compliance.
- Wired or wireless internet at a minimum speed of 100 mb/sec is required
- The candidate must have the ability to work remotely effectively as required in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required
- Experience in Flow Cytometry is highly preferred
- MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or SCYM(ASCP) certification is a plus
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
- High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
