Data Reviewer I Pathology Lab Operations

As a Data Review you'll reviews data from preclinical animal research studies for accuracy and compliance to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols and regulatory guidelines for the Post Life area. Maintains and expands knowledge of regulatory requirements, protocol requirements, SOP requirements, and client requirements. Responds to Quality Assurance inspection reports. Maintains error tracking data in support of departmental improvement efforts. May assist with performing necropsy and/or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals
- Reviews data to ensure quality standards are met and to verify compliance to applicable SOP and regulatory requirements.
- May performs necropsy and/or histology tasks on a variety of laboratory animals in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitors animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Health and Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance.
- Maintains and seeks to expand a strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. GLPs), SOP requirements, and other guidance documents.

Qualifications/Education/Experience
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology OR Bachelor's Degree in life science program such as Animal Science, Biology, Animal Behavior, Wildlife Studies, Microbiology, or Veterinary Nursing
- 18 months experience as Study Tech on the Pathology team, fully trained to perform animal necropsy and/or histology tasks
