We are seeking a qualified clinician to serve as a Clinical Lead for content development on our Clinical and Digital Solutions team. Responsibilities include: translating clinical guidelines and evidence to comprehensive and detailed content for clinicians and patients; collaborating with other scientific and clinical experts to expand our content portfolio; and providing clinical expertise to enhance our healthcare customer IT solutions. You will have a deep understanding of provider and patient needs that will facilitate content creation and enhancement within technology solutions that differentiate us from our competitors.

What you will do:
- Oversee development and maintenance of clinical content for the solution(s) to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance.
- Provide subject matter expertise in creation of clinical content, with a focus on consumer and patient-facing education.
- Keep current with and appropriately evaluate the medical literature, guidelines, and other clinical information sources. Ensure that content is current, clinically accurate, and supported by the best available evidence.
- Collaborate with other medical experts and critically review content they produce for: scientific and clinical accuracy and appropriateness, compliance with legal and regulatory policies, and consistency in content across related topics within the content portfolio.
- Act as the clinical expert in evaluating/working with external partnerships and collaborating with customers.
- Establish relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, academic institutions and industry personnel.
- Collaborate with technical and business leaders to build and enhance our solutions based on clinical experience and customer feedback.
- Focus on users' needs across different use cases. This includes staying current with practicing clinicians' information needs and workflow: changes in clinical practice, electronic medical records, regulatory and quality standards, and continuing medical education requirements. This also includes being innovative and flexible regarding content format to meet different use cases.
- Confidently and credibly present solution features and content by leading product presentations, and demonstrations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Medical Director, other clinical leads, and other members of the clinical content team.
- Collaborate with other teams within Clinical and Digital Solutions (e.g., Product, Development, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to provide insights and contribute to strategy of content development based on clinical experience and expertise.
- Occasional travel to attend approved conferences, internal Labcorp meetings, or other meetings will be required. Active participation (participation in workgroups, committees, collaboration groups) in thought leadership organizations within area of specialty is supported and encouraged.

Desired skills and experience:
- Physician (MD or DO) who has completed residency training and a minimum of two to five years of clinical practice in the U.S.
- Preference is given to those currently or recently in clinical practice.
- Preference is given to those with interest or background in the application of healthcare technologies in clinical practice.
- Preference is given to those with experience writing and editing clinical content.
- Preference is given to those with formal training or significant experience in interpretation, critical appraisal and synthesizing of the medical literature and clinical guidelines, and in the application of evidence to clinical practice.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy; ability to multi-task and prioritize work and be flexible depending upon workflow.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across clinical, business, and technical teams, with other clinical team members, and with external consultants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and an ability to learn to use new content authoring software applications. High computer skill competency.
- Excellent command of the English language in both spoken and written forms.

Pay Range: $180,000 - $200,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
