About Stanley Park
The Stanley Park Brewing legacy dates back to 1897 when our namesake brewery was established in Stanley Park. In 2009, we introduced a new generation of beer drinkers to this storied brand with the launch of Stanley Park 1897 Amber.
Today, our beer portfolio offers our interpretation of some of the world's great beer styles which, like the Park itself, enables connections with friends, family and the world around us. We embrace a progressive, eco-driven brewing process that in turn gives our customers the choice to make a difference when selecting their beer.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate all Brewhouse equipment with computer/PLC interface in accordance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
  • Demonstrated ability to learn BOTEC Brewing software and other software used in the Brewing Process.
  • Good decision making skills based on the feedback from information provided by the PLC interface and other related information
  • Material handling: transfer, milling and weighing of grain
  • Responsible for day to day process in brewing (Mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling)
  • Record keeping - detailed reports of Brewhouse parameters and maintaining accurate and complete HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) records
  • Daily housekeeping in Brewhouse and intensive weekly cleaning of Brewhouse equipment and vessels
  • Repair and overhaul duties throughout the year
  • Understand and use standard operation procedures (SOPs)
  • Quality sampling, testing and record keeping related to the brewing process as required
  • Temporary role: 3 months with possibility to extend
  • Hourly wage: $26.13 per hour



Job Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education considered an asset
  • Formal brewing education preferred (diploma in brewing, Kwantlen University, Olds, Niagara, IBD, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a brewing operations considered an asset
  • Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending
  • Willing and able to work shift work (days, afternoons, and overnights), overtime, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow health and safety rules and procedures
  • Demonstrated collaborative teamwork and ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and managers
  • Willingness and ability to learn; flexible and adaptable to change
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, project and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Process Improvement and Process Control considered an asset.

Working Conditions
  • Physical Environment(s): Production/Warehousing; Indoor Office
  • Physical Requirements: Standing for long periods of time; Navigating Stairs; frequently >50% lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights of up to 60lbs.
