Job Description

Vendor Performance - Network, Telecom and Mobility
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure service levels to support the Canadian business unit. Liaison with all levels of management and functional leads. Maintain Canada service levels for end user computing, network performance including voice and data.
  • Critical business escalation and communication management
  • Vendor monthly meetings - performance review
  • Main point of contact / Subject Matter Expert for Canada network / telecom infrastructure
Network, Telecom and Mobility user request
  • Analyze user request
  • Provide solution or direction
  • Coordinate the order/installation
  • Manage ticket according to service level agreement (SLA)
  • Review and acknowledge customer feedbacks
Network, Telecom and Mobility performance
  • Work with larger team to identify and resolve problem root causes / reduce incidents
  • Support management and resolution of major incidents
  • Review critical issues, action items and provide status
Network, Telecom and Mobility projects and targets
  • Support the implementation and transition of infrastructure related to new business projects
  • Validate and oversee changes with BU impact and ensures application of processes defined at the zone and the global level (Excellence Program KPIs)
  • Ensure that "project to support transition" requirements are met
  • Lead Canadian infrastructure projects
ZBB Tracking for IT infrastructure - Network, Telecom and Mobility
  • Budget management - Submitting/Receiving vendor invoices as well as budgeting and monthly forecast
  • Track Canadian Mobility, Telecom and WAN budget and actuals
  • Month end meeting with department financial analyst and line manager to verify and validate monthly spend (LE vs forecast)


Job Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience on network, and infrastructure operation
  • Strong analytical skills using excel
  • Hands on network and Telecom support and required to work with our internal / external network, Telecom service provider and internal team providing basic day to day infrastructure support
  • Assist with hardware maintenance and testing of network servers, and associated equipment
  • Network and overall infrastructure analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving
  • Working experience of telecommunication system and mobility will be an asset
  • Solid understanding of business processes, in order to understand the impact of support issues. Drive the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills both in verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual (French and English)
Education
  • Post-Secondary degree in Computer Science or IT related Diploma in Networking
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Nice to Have -Industry certifications, this can include Network+ MCTS/MCITP, CCNA
  • Computer Networking and Technical Support Knowledge
