Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform routine analytical tests on beer and RTD (ready to drink) products through all stages of the process
  • Participate in and lead sensory analysis of beer and RTD products
  • Perform routine microbiological testing, recording and reporting
  • Perform laboratory equipment cleaning, verification and calibration
  • Data analysis of all quality results
  • Identify problem areas and contribute to problem-solving with brewing, packaging and maintenance

Location: Labatt's innovation hub where we produce over 300 different products for our national distribution channels. Lead production of ready-to-drink products & sole producer of Stanely Park.

Job Qualifications:
  • Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Food Science is required
  • Food and/or Beverage experience is preferred
  • Good Laboratory Practices and HACCP knowledge are an asset
  • Experience with development and implementation of BRC is preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends
  • Sensory training and experience is a plus
