Job Description

  • Management and implementation of capital project management and execution. Duties include equipment design and modification, scoping, scheduling, bid letting, cost tracking, contractor management, organization of project update meetings with regular communications, and approval of capital project SAP requisitions
  • Responsible for oversight of maintenance functions, maintenance personnel, and boiler operations. Duties include coordination of maintenance work with production schedules, location of parts and vendor services for various plant maintenance and facilities' upkeep requirements. Implementation of all plant projects using maintenance technicians
  • Champion VPO tools to achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, GAP analysis, MCRS meeting schedules and action logs, 5-Why's, PDCA and SDCA cycles, etc.); VPO Maintenance Pillar and Maintenance KPI Owner.
  • Responsible for the financial impact of projects and maintenance costs
  • Responsible for local systems network support and maintenance. Act as plant contact for IBS trouble-shooting when necessary.
  • Drive improvement of maintenance knowledge throughout the Brewery.

Job Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering (mechanical, chemical, industrial or electrical)
  • 3 years experience as industrial setting; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment an asset
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic and attendance record
  • Knowledge of government regulations pertaining to brewery utility and wastewater systems
  • In-depth knowledge of capital deployment and construction approaches, techniques and requirements.
