Job Description
- Develop and maintain the best possible forecast (anticipated demand) through statistical analysis and cross functional integration with commercial teams and all areas within Supply Chain
- Main Liaison between Commercial and Supply Chain to communicate performance of sales versus forecast, and facilitate market and production solutions
- Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting of KPIs and performance metrics, with the ability to analyze and present findings
- Use a modern supply chain planning platform (o9 Solutions) to maintain the sales forecast. This includes: applying market intelligence, identifying key marketing activity, developing forecasts for new products and promotions as well as monitoring overall forecast accuracy
- Offline forecast generation for validation of commercial programs/new product launches etc. Communication and interaction with cross functional areas
- Responsible for running weekly Forecast Consensus meetings with Commercial organization
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or Applied Math and Science. Solid base in Statistics, Data Science, or Supply Chain Dynamics is an asset
- Experience: Specific & relevant experience that provided knowledge of data mining and analysis; forecasting concepts and demand seasonality patterns. General experience and knowledge of inventory management, product flow priorities, production scheduling and transportation practices is preferred
- Technical Competencies: Knowledge and skills in the use of software packages such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Power BI
