Job Description

We are hiring a Master Data Specialist to join the enterprise within the National Sales Intelligence team.
In this role, you will use your expertise across the data lifecycle to lead the development and execution of an enterprise data stewardship framework. Reporting to the Sr. Manager Nat. Sales Intelligence, and in partnership with IT & Solutions Departments, you will be responsible for reference data for our Canadian Sales Master Data
The Opportunity

• Define an approach for data stewardship for Reference Data, including KPIs and reporting, to ensure that data used across Labatt Breweries of Canada is appropriately managed and supports enterprise objectives
  
• Provide subject matter expertise on systems managing reference data including master data systems, data warehouses.
  
• Identify potential areas where existing processes, controls, and tools require change or need to be developed to ensure data governance objectives are met.
  
• Provide subject-matter expertise and recommend best practices on reference data to support the rollout of new strategic platforms.
  

• Build relationships across all levels of the organization including Trade Marketing & Insights Departments.
  
• Manage expectations and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  

Job Qualifications

• Detail & process oriented
  
• Practical experience in data stewardship or data governance, including a proven track record influencing a diverse set of stakeholders to drive outcomes.
  

• Experience working with Enterprise data systems such as Kalido, Power BI
  
• Experience writing detailed business requirements used by developers.
  
• Knowledge of data modeling, architecture principles, and techniques.
