Tax Accounting Support Analyst (CHQ)

The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented tax or accounting professional to join our CHQ Tax team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the achievement of our key tax financial targets. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in tax or accounting and a strong desire to grow their expertise in corporate tax reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Quarter-End / Year-End Close Support
- Prepare and roll forward Excel models supporting interim and year-end tax computations for US GAAP financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of income tax footnote disclosure tie outs and supplemental financial data tie outs.

Trial Balance Analysis
- Run, reconcile, and analyze trial balance data for P&L and balance sheet.
Data Aggregation & Coordination
- Collaborate with regional tax teams to gather inputs impacting US GAAP reporting.
- Assist in identifying and reconciling US GAAP to statutory differences to improve accuracy in tax expense and cash tax forecasting.
Monthly Close Process
- Prepare monthly tax account reconciliations.
- Support other CHQ accounting requests including variance explanations as needed.
Tax Forecasting
- Assist in forecasting of tax expense and cash tax.
- Contribute to tax modeling updates and data gathering or outreach to support scenario analysis and strategic tax planning.
The salary range starts at 3000 EUR gross per month. The final salary offer reflects the set of skills and experience that selected candidates bring to the team.
This position requires involvement with the accounting closing cycles at the start of each month. If the closing date falls on a bank holiday or a weekend, it will be required to work on that day.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward an equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in tax or accounting, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial models.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and tax accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic tax environment.
