The Role
Software Procurement & Asset Management Lead is tasked with leading the integration of Software Procurement and Asset Management. This leader understands and partners within and outside of Technology to strike the appropriate balance between cost and capability. You will be a trusted advisor for all supplier-related concerns to Technology senior leaders and will influence and drive both financial and technical outcomes.

Essential Skills, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software strategic sourcing professionals working with numerous software vendors to enhance relationships, negotiate enterprise deals, evaluate contractual terms & conditions, evaluate deal inputs, and other critical software procurement activities.
- Interface with Asset Management leadership and help to launch a full integration between the Software Strategic Sourcing team, Software Market Procurement, and Asset Management.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of Software Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
- Evaluate and enhance the software procurement lifecycle for Kyndryl owned software assets.
- Create an automated process for the capture of software entitlement information.
- Establish a deal calendar that outlines a 30/60/90/180/365-day view of upcoming purchase and renewal activities.
- Oversee SME-level cadence with linked resources in Asset Management and Market Procurement.
- Chair a Software Review Board evaluating large purchases for purpose, fit, sizing, and pricing.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of Software Procurement experience including Software and Hardware Asset Management experience
- Experience with leading Procurement and ITAM tooling including Ariba, S4 Hana, ServiceNow, ILMT, Flexera, BigFix, TADz, and other enterprise-class tools.
- Experience in technology sourcing and vendor management
- Experience with Software Asset Management tools
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and program management
- Demonstrated ability to tell stories with data in order to inform and influence decision making
- Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to audiences at all levels within the organization
- Possess strong negotiation, influencing, analytical, and interpersonal skills (including written and oral communications)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
- Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreement structures
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership decisions
- Experience managing complex projects with tight timelines

Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $150,720 to $286,200 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $165,720 to $343,560
Colorado: $150,720 to $286,200
New York City: $180,720 to $343,560
Washington: $165,720 to $314,880
Washington DC: $165,720 to $314,880
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
