By owning the technical and managerial support for our field engineers, technicians, system administrators, subject matter experts, and product support personnel, you will empower them to deliver, manage, maintain, and deploy IT services effectively.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5-8 years of progressive external and/or internal audit experience in an organization of appropriate scale and complexity including professional experience with SOX 302/404 Compliance
  • Undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: Accounting or Finance
  • Possesses at least one of the following certifications: CPA / Chartered Accountant, CIA, or other equivalent certification
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts (COSO Framework), SOX compliance requirements, accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards) and SEC regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of internal auditing (International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) by the Institute of Internal Auditors)
  • Experience in executing various aspects of a SOX compliance program (including leading and executing SOX audits and performing risk assessments for a global organization)
  • Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience working with a global team
  • Execute in various aspects of the SOX Compliance program including, but not limited to planning, scoping, controls testing program and tracking and aggregation of overall control deficiencies
  • Provide input in scoping and planning the timing of the company's SOX activities
  • Understand internal control deficiencies and obtain adequate and relevant documentation to perform assessment and aggregation (assessing root cause, impact and sufficiency of remediation plans) of company-wide control deficiencies
  • Understand the Kyndryl business, processes and associated business risks, challenges and provide input to SOX Compliance program leadership to align these to the overall SOX compliance program
  • Collaborate with process owners to understand key controls and significant processes changes and with external auditors to support an efficiency and alignment
  • Prepare clear and concise deliverables
  • Establish good relationships and become a trusted resource for business partners ensuring productive relationships across stakeholder groups
  • Support special projects around internal control and process improvements; and other projects as assigned
  • Maintain current on new business initiatives, system implementations, accounting policy changes, personnel changes and acquisitions and provide input to the SOX Compliance Director
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Internal Audit and SOX compliance guidelines, interpretations and standards

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Big Four experience
  • Excellent project management and organization skills and oral and written communication skills
  • Effectively and professionally presents and communicates issues, risks and technical information in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences in English
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed expectations
